Former announcer Bae Ji-hyun recently shared her move to a luxurious villa in Gangnam.
On the 27th, Bae Ji-hyun's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'Wife Moves Alone, Now with Childcare (3-hour Round-trip Kindergarten Ride)'. In the video, Bae Ji-hyun revealed the chaotic state of her home as she prepared for the move without her husband, baseball player Ryu Hyun-jin.
Bae Ji-hyun expressed, "I'm on the verge of passing out. It would be easier to take everything, but separating items is confusing," adding, "There are quite a few things we're not taking, but I was shocked when I took everything out. This house has great storage, so we brought everything in. Hyun-jin and I promised to live minimally in the new place."
She explained the reason for moving alone, saying, "Originally, my husband could have come home after the Sunday Jamsil game, but he has to pitch on Tuesday, so he needs to train on Monday. He has to go straight to Incheon, so he can't come. I have to move completely alone."
After completing the tight moving schedule and sending the kids to school, she took a moment to relax and showcased the interior of their new home. The spacious living room with a panoramic window view, ample storage, and a marble island kitchen caught the eye. A trophy display for her baseball player husband was set up in one corner of the living room. Bae Ji-hyun proudly displayed Ryu Hyun-jin's trophies, showing her affection.
The video drew comments from netizens such as "Ryu Hyun-jin married well. She's the queen of support," and "The kids' room seems bigger than my living room. How many square feet is this?" expressing admiration for the couple's new home.
Meanwhile, Ryu Hyun-jin and Bae Ji-hyun, who married in 2018, have a son and a daughter. The couple purchased a villa in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, worth approximately 6.4 billion won in cash last January. The villa is reportedly jointly owned by the couple.
