Actor Koo Kyo-hwan is set to appear on Chef Park Eun-young's new cooking talk show. Chef Park is preparing for her upcoming wedding to a doctor at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul this May.
The JTBC Digital Studio show 'Babeunyoung' will premiere on April 28 at 6:30 PM. Known as the 'Goddess of Chinese Cuisine,' Park Eun-young will cook and chat with various guests, recreating dishes that have become popular in comics, movies, and social media, promising a unique and entertaining experience.
The episode kicks off in a celebratory mood, marking Park Eun-young's wedding announcement and her debut as a solo MC. She expressed her excitement, saying, "I hope the chefs from 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' will join," and "I want to showcase my real skills in a relaxed setting, not just in 15 minutes."
The first guest on 'Babeunyoung' is actor Koo Kyo-hwan, drawing significant attention. Park Eun-young, who is currently starring in JTBC's weekend drama 'Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness,' expressed her admiration for Koo, saying, "I've fallen for the charm of 'human Koo Kyo-hwan' seen on variety shows," and "I'm happier than when cooking for my husband." Koo reciprocated, stating, "Chef Park Eun-young is my top pick for 'Black and White Chef,'" creating a warm atmosphere.
The two introverted personalities unexpectedly showcase great chemistry. While Park Eun-young demonstrates her culinary skills, Koo Kyo-hwan's clumsy attempts provide a humorous contrast. Park jokes, "If the dish goes wrong, we can blame Koo," to which he responds, "Run to me," and "I made all of this," completing a delightful banter. Koo concludes by expressing his honor to be part of the 'Babeunyoung' premiere, raising anticipation for the first episode.
JTBC Digital Studio's 'Babeunyoung' will be available on its YouTube channel at 6:30 PM on April 28.
