According to Mystic Story on the 28th, LUCY (Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, Cho Won-sang, Shin Kwang-il) unveiled the music video teaser for the title track 'Audience' from their second album 'Childish' on their official YouTube channel. In the video, each member is seen smiling brightly on a lush green field, exuding their signature refreshing energy. Notably, the train that appeared in the pre-debut 'LUCY: traveler & guide' prologue film makes a reappearance, heightening fans' curiosity about the main feature.
LUCY was formed after finishing as runners-up on the 2019 JTBC audition program 'Superband'. Although they released 'Flowering' in 2020, it didn't immediately gain popularity. However, about two years later, a live video of 'Flowering' went viral online, establishing them as a 'talented band' in the public eye. They have distinguished themselves from other bands by incorporating a violin into their unique sound.
LUCY's strength lies in their self-producing capabilities, including songwriting and composing. Cho Won-sang, who has produced all of LUCY's albums since their debut, led the overall production of this album as well. Members Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, and Shin Kwang-il also contributed to the songwriting and composing of tracks on the second album, according to their agency.
LUCY's second album 'Childish' is connected to their first album 'Childhood'. As the members are now in their late 20s to early 30s, there is anticipation for how they will express 'childlike' innocence with their matured skills. The album includes a total of 15 tracks, including the title track 'Audience'.
LUCY's album will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 29th. Following the release, they will hold a solo concert 'LUCY 9th CONCERT 'ISLAND'' on May 16-17 at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
