TWS Unveils 'Youthful Romeo' Concept for New Album 'NO TRAGEDY'
K-pop group TWS is set to make a comeback with their fifth mini-album 'NO TRAGEDY', embracing the concept of 'Youthful Romeo'. The group aims to differentiate their narrative from the classic tragedy of 'Romeo and Juliet' by promising a 'happy ending'.
The six-member group, consisting of Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, held a media showcase at Yes24 Live Hall on the 27th, marking the beginning of their promotional activities.
The album's concept draws inspiration from the tragic protagonist 'Romeo'. Notably, the music video for the title track 'You, You' features the phrase 'star-crushing lovers', a twist on the original 'star-crossed lovers', capturing attention. Reporters questioned why TWS chose to incorporate Romeo, a symbol of tragic endings, into an album celebrating love and youth.
Kyungmin explained, "While Romeo's story ends in tragedy, our story promises a happy ending. We found a connection in Romeo's sincerity and passionate expression of love."

Jihoon added, "Both characters are genuine in their love, expressing their emotions fully. However, the key difference is the ending. Unlike the original tragedy, TWS will write a happy ending," expressing their bold aspirations.
The title track 'You, You' combines TWS's signature refreshing sound with house-style R&B rhythms, portraying the growth story of six boys who carve their own destiny and complete their love in their unique way.
TWS's fifth mini-album 'NO TRAGEDY' will be released today at 6 PM on various music streaming platforms.
