Set to premiere on November 8, 'Brave New World' is a new Friday-Saturday drama on SBS. It is a romantic comedy that depicts a high-stakes battle between Shin Se-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), an unknown actress possessed by the spirit of a notorious Joseon-era villainess, and Cha Se-gye (played by Heo Nam-joon), a ruthless conglomerate heir known as a 'monster of capitalism'.
Kim Hyun will portray the character of Kwon Jin-ok, the housekeeper who manages all affairs within the mansion of Chairman Cha Dal-soo (played by Yoon Joo-sang). Jin-ok is a character who controls everything that comes in and out of the mansion, adding a layer of tension to the drama.
Previously, Kim Hyun has showcased her exceptional acting skills in various dramas such as 'Reborn Rich', 'The Escape of the Seven', and 'Cinderella Game', as well as films like 'Little Light' and 'Blue'. Additionally, she is set to appear on stage in the play 'Chunseom's Lie', which opens on May 22, demonstrating her versatility across genres.
Having left a strong impression in numerous works, Kim Hyun has established herself as a scene-stealer. Her seasoned acting has consistently enhanced the immersion of the audience, and anticipation is high for the new dimensions she will bring to her role in 'Brave New World'.
