Released on the 24th, the Netflix series 'Girigo' tells the story of high school students who are suddenly faced with a curse from the wish-granting app 'Girigo', predicting their untimely deaths. No Jae-won captivates viewers as Bang-ul, the boyfriend of shaman Haetsal (played by Jeon So-ni), who helps the students navigate their perilous situation.
From the moment Haetsal begins her rituals to break the 'Girigo' curse, Bang-ul stays by her side, skillfully assisting in preparations. He watches over her with concern, becoming more resolute and sincere in his worry as the danger escalates. Bang-ul's deep affection is evident as he seeks ways for Haetsal, who cannot leave the temple, to experience a normal life, convincingly portraying a loving character.
Bang-ul's caring and responsible nature shines through even when with the students. During the process of breaking the 'Girigo' curse, he raises the tension with his daring actions, rushing to aid Sae-ah (played by Jeon So-young) and Ha-jun (played by Hyun Woo-seok) whenever they are in danger. His sharp counterattacks using a mystical knife and his swift movements convey the urgency of the situation beyond the screen. Additionally, his witty banter and chemistry with Ha-jun add humor, refreshing the atmosphere of the series.
No Jae-won enriches the horror genre with humor and action, leaving a strong impression with his gripping performance. Known for his versatility, he successfully transforms once again, continuing his busy career with the upcoming release of the film 'Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub'.
