On comedian Park Myung-soo's YouTube channel 'HalMyungSoo', a video titled 'Yeonjun, Soobin, Fight Only Once a Day, Not Twice, TXT' was uploaded, featuring Soobin and Yeonjun in a light-hearted conversation with Park at a comic book cafe.
During the video, Soobin opened up about the responsibility he felt as the leader during the re-signing process with HYBE. He shared that he sought advice from senior artists in other teams and strategically proposed high terms initially to negotiate favorable conditions for all members, resulting in a satisfactory outcome.
Yeonjun echoed Soobin's sentiments, emphasizing that such strategic approaches were essential for the group's future.
In a surprising revelation, Soobin shared that it was not BTS but the group KARA that inspired him to enter the music industry. He recounted how he applied to Big Hit Music with the innocent hope of catching the attention of his idol, Han Seung-yeon of KARA, after seeing her notice BTS's Jimin.
Expressing gratitude to KARA for positively impacting his life, Soobin demonstrated his fandom by perfectly recreating KARA's choreography on the spot. He also reminisced about his trainee days, admiring Yeonjun's legendary skills and fearing he might not debut, only to now reflect on their growth as key members of the team.
The duo candidly shared personal anecdotes from their time together, with Yeonjun humorously recounting an incident where Soobin mistakenly wore his underwear marked with his initials, causing laughter.
They also discussed a past cold war due to differing views on leadership roles, which they resolved through deep conversations, leading to stronger trust. Additionally, they shared an unusual story from a recent trip to the Philippines, where a taxi scam they experienced led to government action, highlighting their ongoing influence.
