Chef Jeong Ji-seon Shocked by Son's Monthly Spending Habits

Chef Jeong Ji-seon, known as the 'Black and White Chef,' was taken aback by her son's monthly spending habits.

On the October 26th episode of KBS2's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' Jeong Ji-seon was seen having an in-depth conversation with her son.

During the episode, Jeong's son, Woo-hyung, caught attention with his impressive growth, standing at 174cm at just 13 years old.

The mother and son discussed his allowance over a meal. Jeong Ji-seon mentioned, "(My son) is very interested in stocks and even studies them on his own."

Woo-hyung shared, "I started by giving dad 5,000 won and bought Hyundai Motors as my first stock. It dropped, so I sold it, but I made 20,000 won," expressing his continued interest in investing.

He continued, "I later bought Hanwha Ocean and made a profit of 150,000 won, and I've also invested in Samsung Heavy Industries."

Jeong Ji-seon advised that he needs to do well in school to continue investing in stocks. Her son countered by saying he's making money, leading to a tense discussion about his allowance.

Jeong questioned, "Your allowance is 50,000 won a month, so why are you spending 300,000 won?" Woo-hyung replied, "I spent 290,000 won."

MC Jun Hyun-moo suggested, "It seems like you need to limit his allowance," to which Jeong Ji-seon responded, "I opened a bank account for him when he was five, and he's been saving since then. He's covering the shortfall with stock profits," surprising everyone.
