Veteran Actor Jung Tae-woo's Passion for Surfing Takes Him to Bali


Veteran actor Jung Tae-woo has revealed his recent trip to Bali for a surfing expedition.

On the upcoming episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Baekban Journey of Heo Young-man,' airing at 7:50 PM on the 26th, Jung Tae-woo, who is gaining attention as the 'original Danjong' amidst the 'Man Living with the King' craze, will be traveling to Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

During the Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival, Jung Tae-woo, engrossed in crab fishing, humorously shouted, “Don’t take mine!” bringing laughter to the scene. A fellow guest humorously advised him to “maintain dignity!” causing more laughter. Jung Tae-woo then showcased his love for food by devouring the crabs he caught, joking, “The snow crabs are really crab-tastic!” displaying his charming personality.

The episode will also reveal stories from Jung Tae-woo's early acting days. In 1988, he starred in the film 'Smart Little Vampire,' earning a remarkable 3 million won, proving his status as an 'original child star.' Despite his adorable looks that won the nation's heart, he humorously recalls receiving cold stares from other child actors and their parents at auditions.

Having traveled across Korea from a young age, Jung Tae-woo developed a keen sense for gourmet food, impressing even the seasoned food critic on the show with his extensive knowledge and precise taste evaluations. His multifaceted charm extends beyond the dining table. Jung Tae-woo is a dedicated 'surfing enthusiast,' traveling as far as Bali for his passion. He has even trained his two sons to become skilled surfers, showcasing his fervent dedication to their education.

Jung Tae-woo married Jang In-hee, a former flight attendant, in 2009, and they have two sons together.
