In the 13th episode of TV Chosun's 'Dr. Shin' (directed by Lee Seung-hoon, written by Phoebe (Im Sung-han)), which aired on the night of the 25th at 10:30 PM, Geum Bara (played by Ju Se-bin) discovers the shocking truth that the soul inhabiting Momo's (played by Baek Seo-ra) body is none other than Kim Jin-joo (played by Chun Young-min).
In this episode, Momo, who has been hiding her identity to win over her unrequited love, Ha Yong-jung (played by Ahn Woo-yeon), sings a favorite song from their orphanage days, provoking Geum Bara. Suspicious, Geum Bara learns from Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) about the brain change surgery that transplanted Kim Jin-joo's brain into Momo's body, leaving her in shock.
Shin Ju-shin urges Geum Bara to undergo the surgery as a last chance to marry Ha Yong-jung by taking over Momo's body, but Geum Bara, valuing the soul over the body, firmly refuses.
Geum Bara's struggles do not end there, as they lead to a massive secret about her birth. After a chance encounter with Paul Kim (played by Ji Young-san), who has spent his life searching for his daughter, Geum Bara discovers through a DNA test that she is the long-lost daughter of Paul Kim and Hyun Ran-hee (played by Song Ji-in).
Particularly, upon confirming that Momo's body is her half-sister, Geum Bara issues a strong warning to Kim Jin-joo, who bites her sister's nails, hinting at a counterattack. However, after spending a night with Ha Yong-jung and becoming pregnant with an illegitimate child, Geum Bara decides to break off her engagement with Shin Ju-shin, leaving only an email and cutting off all contact, making an extreme choice to disappear.
Meanwhile, Momo, who married Ha Yong-jung, also announces her pregnancy, but their married life is far from smooth. Momo tries to maintain her position by mocking Geum Bara, using Ha Yong-jung's kindness as a shield, but Ha Yong-jung, even during their honeymoon, longs for the missing Geum Bara, unable to settle his heart. Ultimately, an extremely sensitive Momo declares divorce to Ha Yong-jung, leading to a confrontation. The tension escalates as Momo suddenly collapses, with James (played by Jeon No-min) making a cynical remark hinting at a miscarriage.
