Singer Kim Yong-bin sheds tears as he opens up about his family.
Kim Yong-bin will appear on the upcoming October 24th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Pyeon Restaurant'.
Debuting as a child prodigy in trot music, Kim Yong-bin has dedicated 23 years to the genre, ultimately gaining recognition by winning the top prize on the trot competition show 'Mr. Trot 3'.
In this episode, Kim Yong-bin attempts to recreate a dish frequently made by his late grandmother. He shared, "When I appeared as a special MC on 'Pyeon Restaurant' last time, I wanted to try cooking myself, so I've been diligently practicing since then." Despite being a novice, Kim Yong-bin approached cooking with meticulousness and calmness, often humorously praising himself with comments like "I'm good at cooking."
To verify his grandmother's recipe, Kim Yong-bin sought help from his aunt, who couldn't help but smile at her affectionate and charming nephew. During their conversation, his aunt repeatedly referred to Kim Yong-bin as "son," sparking curiosity about the family dynamics.
The preview also captured Kim Yong-bin in tears, carrying luggage and heading somewhere. He remarked, "This is my first visit since the competition ended. It's been almost a year. I'm sorry for not coming sooner." The teaser, with the caption "meeting the long-missed person," further piqued interest about whom he was referring to. Watching the footage in the studio, Kim Yong-bin couldn't hold back his tears.
