K-pop group NMIXX is gearing up to showcase their musical chemistry with Hanloro in their new track 'Heavy Serenade'.
Ahead of the release of their fifth mini-album 'Heavy Serenade' on May 11, NMIXX has captured attention with their promotional scheduler and album trailer video. On the afternoon of the 22nd, they unveiled the album tracklist image and motion poster video on their official social media channels.
According to the tracklist, the new album will feature six songs, including the title track 'Heavy Serenade', 'Crescendo', 'IDESERVEIT', 'Different Girl', 'Superior', and 'LOUD'. Notably, the title track's lyrics were penned by singer-songwriter Hanloro, showcasing a unique blend of emotions from these two trending artists. Members Lily and BAE contributed to the lyrics of 'Crescendo' and 'Different Girl', respectively, while Lily solely wrote the lyrics for 'LOUD', highlighting her musical prowess.
The motion poster features a field under a purple-tinted night sky. As the serene sounds of nature play, a unique glass flower sways gently until a strong wind scatters its shards, creating a beautiful melody. This short video, with its tranquil yet mysterious atmosphere, heightens anticipation for the new album.
Before the album's release, NMIXX is showcasing their confidence by previewing some tracks. On April 24, they will perform 'Superior' at the 'LCK Team Roadshow: T1 Homeground' Eve Festa, hosted by global esports company T1 Entertainment & Sports. Additionally, the music video for 'Crescendo' will be pre-released on April 28.
Following the success of their first full album's title track 'Blue Valentine' in 2025, NMIXX's first comeback of 2026, 'Heavy Serenade', is set to be released on May 11 at 6 PM.
