Park Ye-eun, known from 'I-LAND 2', makes her debut with the new girl group UNCHILD.
UNCHILD, consisting of members Park Ye-eun, Hiki, Tina, Ako, Yvonne, and Na Ha-eun, held a media showcase on the 21st at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their debut single 'We Are UNCHILD'.
Park Ye-eun, who appeared on Mnet's audition program 'I-LAND 2', is part of UNCHILD. During the event, she confidently introduced herself, saying, "You may not remember me, but I've grown a lot. I'm Park Ye-eun from UNCHILD." She expressed her debut feelings, stating, "After being eliminated from 'I-LAND 2', I had many worries, but standing here with the six members for our debut showcase is overwhelming and feels new."
UNCHILD is the first new girl group introduced by High Up Entertainment in about six years since STAYC. The group's name incorporates the prefix 'UN-' to signify their determination to break free from conventional molds and channel their unique energy.
The title track 'UNCHILD' is an electronic pop song featuring a gritty electric guitar riff and psychedelic electronic sounds. It carries a bold message of overcoming fears and embarking on new adventures. The debut single also includes tracks like 'ENERGY'.
UNCHILD's debut single 'We Are UNCHILD' will be released on various music platforms at 6 PM today.
