BTS's 'SWIM' Maintains Top 10 Spot on Billboard Hot 100 for Four Consecutive Weeks

BTS continues to make waves on the U.S. Billboard charts as their latest single 'SWIM' from the album 'ARIRANG' holds its position in the top 10 of the 'Hot 100' for the fourth consecutive week.

According to Billboard's official website, the track 'SWIM' secured the 10th spot on the Hot 100 chart dated April 25. The song initially debuted at number one on the April 4 chart and has remained a strong contender in the top ranks. Additionally, it has dominated the 'Digital Song Sales' chart, maintaining the number one position for four weeks straight.

The 'Hot 100' chart is a comprehensive ranking that combines streaming, radio airplay, and sales data, serving as a key indicator of a song's popularity in the U.S. The sustained success of 'SWIM' suggests that BTS's appeal has expanded beyond their dedicated fanbase to a broader American audience.

BTS's achievements extend to the album charts as well. The album 'ARIRANG' has held the number three spot on the 'Billboard 200' for four consecutive weeks, as reported in the same Billboard preview article. This surpasses their previous record set by the mini-album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA' in 2019, which peaked at number eight in its fourth week.

The group's influence in the live performance sector is also noteworthy. The ongoing 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' has sold out 46 shows across South Korea, Japan, North America, and Europe. The tour, which kicked off on April 9 at the Goyang Sports Complex, has already attracted over 240,000 attendees in Goyang and Tokyo alone. The tour is set to cover 85 shows in 34 cities worldwide.
