Previously, Han Groo appeared on KBS1's variety show 'Living Together with Hwang Shin-hye,' where she opened up about her personal life. She revealed that she married at the young age of 23 and gave birth to twins. In 2022, after seven years of marriage, she decided to divorce when her twins were five years old.
Han Groo shared, "I didn't want to fight during the divorce process," reflecting on her own childhood experiences. "My mother had a lot of resentment towards my father, which prevented me from seeing him often, and that was a regret for me," she confessed. "I loved my dad very much, and I felt that not doing the same was the least I could do for my kids," she added.
She also candidly discussed her financial struggles post-divorce, stating, "Initially, I had no money, and I was barely getting by on child support without any extra funds." She revealed that she did not pursue a division of assets. "But with effort, people came forward to help, and that's how I've managed," she said. "When I returned to work, a director I had previously collaborated with invited me back," she concluded.
