Xdinary Heroes (Xdinary Heroes: Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, Jooyeon) recently shared their thoughts on opening for the renowned British band Muse during their concert in Seoul.
The band held an interview at a cafe in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their mini 8th album 'DEAD AND'.
Xdinary Heroes experienced significant growth last year, moving from performing at the Olympic Hall to the Handball Stadium, and then to the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, rapidly increasing the scale of their venues. In July, they performed at Lollapalooza Chicago, and in September, they opened for Muse during their concert in Seoul.
The opportunity to open for Muse was particularly special for the members. Gunil, who has admired Muse since their debut, shared, "I received a signed cymbal from drummer Dominic Howard. I have it framed in my studio, and it reminds me of that moment every time I see it. It was a stage that gave me the motivation to keep working hard." He added with a laugh, "I could talk about it for an hour," expressing his admiration for Muse.
Jooyeon remarked, "Muse is a legendary band. Standing on stage as their opening act and watching their performance made me realize the dignity of legends. It also fueled my ambition for Xdinary Heroes to become a legendary band that spans the globe and generations."
Xdinary Heroes continue their growth with their comeback activities. Gunil expressed, "I'm grateful that the interest in Xdinary Heroes has grown. It's not something to be taken for granted. I wanted to prepare this album well because it's a pivotal moment. How well we do now will determine the positive impact we can achieve, so I put a lot of effort into it. That's why I have a special affection for this album."
Xdinary Heroes are ready to embark on a new journey with their album 'DEAD AND' and the title track 'Voyager', set to release on the 17th at 1 PM. A comeback fan showcase will be held at 8 PM at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. In May and June, they will hold special live performances ' Special Live in Europe & UK' to further their global activities.
