According to YG Entertainment, the music video for BLACKPINK's 'Ice Cream' reached over 1 billion views on YouTube at 4:12 PM on the previous day. This marks the group's 10th video to achieve this milestone, setting a record for the most 1 billion-view videos by a K-pop artist.

'Ice Cream' is a pop song characterized by its simple rhythm and upbeat sound. The track, which features a collaboration with pop star Selena Gomez, was BLACKPINK's first attempt at a cute concept, expanding their global fandom and musical spectrum.

The song also achieved remarkable success on major global charts. Additionally, BLACKPINK's first full-length album, 'THE ALBUM', which includes 'Ice Cream', reached 2nd place on both the US Billboard 200 and the UK Official Albums Chart, breaking the previous record for a K-pop girl group. It stayed on these charts for 10 and 7 consecutive weeks, respectively.

To date, BLACKPINK has produced a total of 50 videos with over 100 million views. Their official YouTube channel has surpassed 100 million subscribers, the first for any artist worldwide, and their cumulative views have exceeded 41.7 billion.
