Park Ji-hoon graced the cover of the May issue of 'Singles' and 'Singles' Japan. In this photoshoot, he flawlessly pulled off a modern reinterpretation of traditional Korean hanbok styling, showcasing his unique deep gaze and diverse expressions to create a distinctive atmosphere.
In an exclusive interview released alongside the photoshoot, Park Ji-hoon shared his thoughts on the record-breaking success of the film, which ranks second in the all-time box office in Korea. He stated, "I didn't expect to receive such immense love," and added, "When choosing a project, I prioritize what emotions I can convey to the audience and what lingering feelings I can leave behind."
Park Ji-hoon continued, "'The Man Who Lives with the King' was special because I cried a lot during filming and poured all my energy into it. It was also meaningful to work with such a great team. I'm very grateful for the love it has received."
Regarding the stage greeting video that dominated social media algorithms, he said, "I'm glad to show fans what they want to see, but the process of interacting on the spot is enjoyable in itself. I think this kind of communication is my strength. So, instead of worrying about how I appear, I approached it with the mindset of showing as much as possible to those who took the time to be there."
On reuniting with Wanna One after seven years, he expressed, "I missed the members so much and wanted to show our fans a good side of us again, so I decided to participate." He also shared behind-the-scenes stories from filming the reality show 'Wanna One Go: Back to Base'. Park Ji-hoon laughed, "I was worried if we could recreate the chemistry from before after so much time had passed, but it was needless. As soon as we met, we laughed so hard that our sides hurt."
Finally, Park Ji-hoon conveyed a heartfelt message, "I wouldn't be where I am today without the unwavering support of my fans. I want to continue honing what only Park Ji-hoon can show and present my unique color."
