Former Comedian Shin Wan-soon Reveals Lawyer Career Brings 1000x More Income

Shin Wan-soon, a former MBC comedian, has shared insights into his income after transitioning to a career as a lawyer.

On the 15th, the 'Alexander Show' channel released a video titled 'Comedian Turned Lawyer.' The video featured comedians who were once part of the same cohort, discussing their current lives.

Shin revealed that after graduating from Yonsei University's law school, he worked as a reporter for TV Chosun before pursuing a legal career, which took about 10 years, including law school.

He expressed satisfaction with his life as a lawyer, stating, "I can work whenever I want, and I have the freedom to come and go as I please," adding that he appreciates not having a fixed schedule like a traditional company. He also emphasized, "I earn based on the work I do."

Shin directly addressed the change in his income, humorously noting, "My income is about a thousand times what it was at MBC," and reminisced, "Back then, I couldn't even earn 1 million won."

Reactions from his fellow comedians were also shared. One commented, "I regret not quitting together when you did," while another admitted, "I cried when I visited your law office," adding to the atmosphere.

Shin also reflected on his time as a comedian, stating, "After experiencing life as a comedian, the bar exam was nothing," highlighting that being a comedian was much more challenging.
