The new variety show 'DolsingNmosol' has captivated audiences with its dopamine-inducing premiere.
Aired on October 14th on MBC Every1 and E Channel, 'DolsingNmosol' introduced viewers to six divorced women and six men who have never been in a relationship, all entering a 'Love Boarding School.' The first episode was packed with scenes unlike any seen in previous dating shows.
The men, each with their unique charm, immediately caught the audience's attention. From 'Rookie,' who is too shy to date, to 'George,' seeking an intellectual professional woman, and 'Mangongyi,' who hesitated to leave the car, each brought their own flair. 'Nakhuayusu' is a romantic who has loved only one person, while 'Sugumjihwamoktocheonhaemyung' (shortened to 'Sugumjihwa') resembles actor Cha Tae-hyun and calls himself 'Aegenman.' Lastly, 'Hyunmoo' dreams of efficient and rational love. The three MCs, Chae Jung-an, Kim Poong, and Nucksal, couldn't contain their laughter and amazement as each unique contestant appeared.
The lineup of divorced women was equally impressive. 'Dujonku,' with a bright aura reminiscent of actress Go Yoon-jung, 'Seouljwi,' maintaining an idol-like appearance year-round, 'Pingpong,' exuding intellectual elegance, 'Bulnabang,' hiding a surprising story of never having been married, 'Camellia,' determined to bloom like a camellia flower, and 'Sunmu,' a 'Dolsingles' alumna seeking love again, each brought their own tension to the show.
The extreme contrasts promised a chaotic party from the start. 'Hyunmoo' froze upon seeing the glamorous 'Seouljwi,' muttering 'eliminated' to himself, which the MCs caught and reacted to with shock. During the nickname introduction, 'George' turned the session into a history lesson, ignoring others' stories and amusing everyone.
Immediately after the entrance ceremony, the first class, 'Math,' took place. The men raced to choose their first date partner, aiming for the woman they wanted to 'add' to their lives. The rapid pace of matchmaking left even dating show enthusiast Kim Poong astonished, saying, 'I've never seen a development like this.'
As a result, 'Rookie' and 'Mangongyi' both chose 'Dujonku,' while 'Hyunmoo' and 'Nakhuayusu' picked 'Bulnabang,' each receiving two votes. Meanwhile, 'Seouljwi' and 'Sunmu' faced the humiliation of receiving zero votes. 'Sugumjihwa,' who missed out on 'Dujonku,' resembling his ideal type Go Yoon-jung, ran to 'Camellia,' lamenting, 'I couldn't run fast because of my shoes,' sparking curiosity about the consequences of this decision. 'George' paired with 'Pingpong,' who promised to engage in any conversation.
The ensuing dates showcased the unexpected behaviors of the 'mosol' men. While the divorced women led the way in planning and guiding the dates, the men awkwardly followed. Notably, during a cold day, 'Pingpong' searched for a restaurant while 'George' stood by with his hands in his pockets, drawing exasperated reactions from the MCs.
The date between 'Rookie' and 'Mangongyi' with 'Dujonku' also brought laughter. When asked about hobbies, 'Rookie' gave a curt 'Yes,' and when 'Dujonku' mentioned her active lifestyle, 'Mangongyi' seriously asked, 'Then the living room?' The MCs were floored by the unexpected humor, with Kim Poong and Nucksal declaring, 'That's a fresh high-level joke,' and 'That line is insane.'
The preview for the second episode, shown at the end of the broadcast, teased more bold moves from the divorced women and the flustered reactions of the 'mosol' men, heightening anticipation. Kim Poong, after watching the preview, exclaimed, 'This is stronger than a Hollywood movie trailer. As a dating show enthusiast, this is bound to be a hit,' unable to hide his excitement. Viewers are eager to see what unfolds in the next episode.
