Comedian Lee Bong-won Shares Update on Wife Park Mi-sun's Battle with Breast Cancer
Comedian Lee Bong-won has shared an update on his wife Park Mi-sun, who has been battling breast cancer.

On the October 14th episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny,' Lee Bong-won appeared to reveal his daily life living separately from Park Mi-sun.

Lee Bong-won opened up by saying, "I've been running a small business selling jjambbong and managing my personal YouTube channel. Then, my wife's health deteriorated, so I spent time with her at the hospital, helping with her treatment." He stayed by Park Mi-sun's side throughout her chemotherapy. Lee Bong-won added, "(Currently) the treatment is over, and she is taking medication while monitoring her progress. I'm not naturally attentive, but I do everything she asks," he said with a smile.

He also mentioned that they are still living separately. Lee Bong-won said, "We've grown closer by traveling together and creating memories. We are still living separately, but I accompany her to every hospital visit. Otherwise, what's the point of me being there?" he joked, bringing laughter.

Meanwhile, Park Mi-sun was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in December 2024 and has returned to broadcasting after a year-long battle and recovery.
