Actress Yoo Bi has announced her next project, marking her return to the screen three years after starring in the SBS drama 'The Escape of the Seven'.
On the 13th, Yoo Bi's YouTube channel featured a video titled 'Second Q&A: Ask Me Anything Anytime'. In the video, Yoo Bi appeared in a striking gray leopard-print beret paired with a fresh preppy look.
She began by saying, "I finally have plans after a long time. I have about 20 minutes until my appointment, so I thought I'd continue with the Q&A from the last video." When asked by a fan what she considers most important when being cast in a drama or film, Yoo Bi revealed, "Up until now, I've focused on whether I could do the role well. I'm a cautious person, so it's important for me to feel confident in myself."
Yoo Bi confessed that her attitude towards acting changed after filming the 2024 SBS drama 'The Resurrection of the Seven'. She shared, "I suddenly wanted to try roles I wasn't confident in. During that time, I received a casting offer from Taiwan for a drama about a love story between a Taiwanese man and a Korean woman. Fortunately, I was cast as the Korean woman, so I could speak in Korean, which gave me the courage to take the role."
She continued, "I filmed last year, and it was so much fun that I felt like I could do anything. Since then, my criteria for selecting projects have changed. If the script and character are interesting, I just want to do it all," adding, "I can't say much yet, but there will be good news this year. Please wait a little longer."
Fans expressed their excitement upon the video's release, commenting, "I'm already looking forward to the last comment. I want to see Yoo Bi acting," and "I watched 'Yumi's Cells 3' as soon as it came out. It was so nice to see her, even for a moment."
Meanwhile, Yoo Bi, the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi-ri, has appeared in various dramas such as 'Gu Family Book', 'Uncontrollably Fond', and 'Yumi's Cells'.
