On the 13th, a press conference for the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow' was held at The Saint in D-Cube City, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-jun, Kwak Sun-young, and director Park Joon-woo.
'Scarecrow' is a crime investigation thriller about a detective investigating a serial murder case who unexpectedly forms a partnership with someone he despises.
Lee Hee-jun takes on the role of Cha Si-young, a prosecutor aiming to enter politics. Lee described his character as "a person full of ambition. Although fictional, the character is entangled in intricate and complex relationships, making him very appealing. The script was also intriguing, which led me to choose this project."
In the drama, Cha Si-young forms a reluctant partnership with Kang Tae-joo, played by Park Hae-soo. Lee Hee-jun expressed his joy, saying, "I was thrilled to work with a beloved younger brother. We had a great time on set, and since we are very close in real life, we were considerate of each other, which made the filming process smooth."
Lee Hee-jun concluded by saying, "Since the drama deals with the serious subject of murder cases, all the staff and actors put extra effort into the production. We approached the filming with sincerity rather than just acting, so we hope for a lot of anticipation."
'Scarecrow' is set to premiere on the 20th at 10 PM.
