Actress Jeon So-min has revealed her reasons for deciding not to have children.
On the 11th, a video titled 'It's Been a While, But We're Still the Same? | Seok Sam Play Season 1 EP.1 Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Jipyeonhan World.'
In the video, Ji Seok-jin, Lee Sang-yeob, Jeon So-min, and Lee Mi-joo visited Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, enjoying a trip and sharing everyday stories while exploring various attractions, including Namhansanseong Fortress.
During their journey, Ji Seok-jin asked, "Did you have breakfast?" Lee Sang-yeob replied, "My wife made pumpkin porridge for me. She prepares breakfast for me every day," showcasing his loving side.
Jeon So-min and Lee Mi-joo expressed admiration, saying, "That's amazing," and "She's truly beautiful." Ji Seok-jin added, "If you have a baby, it will be really cute," naturally bringing up the topic of having children.
Lee Sang-yeob mentioned, "I prefer a daughter," and Ji Seok-jin immediately asked Jeon So-min, "When you get married, will you have one son and one daughter?"
Jeon So-min hesitated for a moment before responding, "Oppa, it's not going to happen for me," and firmly stated, "I'll just live happily with my partner. I'm going to end the lineage."
Jeon So-min also shared the realistic reasons behind her decision to 'give up on having children.' She sighed, "I'm 41 years old. When would I have a child and raise them? It's tough." The members laughed at her comment but also empathized with her.
Ji Seok-jin jokingly advised, "You should have a baby that looks like you," but Jeon So-min playfully replied, "I'll have to discuss it well with my future husband," ending the conversation on a light note.
Previously, Jeon So-min had expressed her thoughts on giving up on marriage during a conversation with her close friend, actor Kim Ji-seok, questioning, "Do I really have to get married? Should I try even if I fail? Will I feel a sense of loss if I don't do what everyone else is doing?"
