K-Pop singer Kim Jaejoong recently welcomed YouTuber Hibab to his home on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'.
On the October 10th broadcast, Kim Jaejoong invited a female friend to his house for the first time, preparing a dish he called 'Heart-Pounding Hamburg Steak'. He expressed his excitement, saying, "I noticed you push yourself in videos. Just wait a bit, I'll make sure you eat well."
The guest was none other than Mukbang YouTuber Hibab. Kim Jaejoong explained their friendship, saying, "We became close while working. She eats so well, I thought we should have a meal together."
His parents were delighted to meet the female guest, having previously listed their ideal daughter-in-law's traits as "eating well, getting along with eight sisters-in-law, and saving money."
Upon learning Hibab is ten years younger, Kim's mother joked, "Then the girl is at a disadvantage," bringing smiles all around. Kim Jaejoong admitted, "I'm nervous," while Hibab commented, "I feel like part of the family here."
Kim's parents humorously mistook Hibab for a member of Girls' Generation, adding to the laughter. Kim's father secretly filmed their meal, jokingly calling it a date.
Kim Jaejoong referred to Hibab by her real name, 'Heejae', catching attention. His father praised her, saying, "She eats so well, it's beautiful," and began asking questions, "There's one concern. Jaejoong has eight sisters. If you were to marry, how would you feel about having many sisters-in-law?"
Hibab replied, "I don't think it's a concern. I believe I can get along with everyone." However, Kim Jaejoong humorously opposed, "I don't want my wife to be too close with my sisters. They'll know all our secrets, even our bank balance!"
When Hibab mentioned her favorite food is beef intestines, Kim's mother joked, "We need to earn a lot of money then." Kim Jaejoong added, "Sometimes her income surpasses mine," to which Hibab revealed, "There was a time I earned 100 million won a month just from YouTube views," impressing everyone.
While Kim's parents were pleased with the capable potential daughter-in-law, they were taken aback when Hibab shared she once ate 22 servings of beef intestines and spends 10 million won a month on food. Kim's mother humorously expressed mild disapproval, "It's our first meeting, so not a complete pass," bringing more laughter.
