On Joo-wan candidly shared his love story with wife Minah, from their five-year relationship to marriage, on the latest episode of MBN's 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3' aired on the 10th.
During the show, actor On Joo-wan revealed his relationship with Girl's Day's Minah, stating, "We dated for five years before getting married," and added, "It wasn't a secret relationship. Even when we held hands in public, articles were written about us." Despite their public displays of affection, the couple managed to keep their relationship under wraps for a long time.
When Jeon Hyun-moo lamented, "I get dating rumors even when I'm not in a relationship," On Joo-wan humorously responded, "Minah and I used to say, 'Maybe the world isn't interested in us.'"
On Joo-wan and Minah first met on the set of the drama 'Beautiful Gong Shim' in 2016. He shared, "Minah played Gong Shim, and I was the chaebol who liked her. At that time, I was 34 and Minah was 24, so there wasn't any romantic feeling initially."
Their relationship blossomed while working together on a musical. On Joo-wan recalled, "Minah expressed her interest in doing musicals, so I encouraged her to audition. I played a bodyguard, and Minah was a translator. There was a love scene."
He continued, "We practiced for 10 hours a day, spending all day together. I confessed my feelings first, saying, 'I think I'm developing feelings for you.' Why hold back?"
He added, "During practice, I would tell her, 'I think I like you,' making sure only Minah could hear, showcasing their sweet romance."
Jeon Hyun-moo proposed a mission for On Joo-wan and Kwak Tube to call their partners and get them to say 'I love you.' Both failed initially, but On Joo-wan succeeded on his second attempt, connecting with Minah.
When On Joo-wan asked for a romantic comment, Minah playfully responded, "Why are you doing something you don't usually do?" but then expressed her affection, saying, "Do you want me to say I love you?" When asked by Jeon Hyun-moo what she liked about On Joo-wan, Minah praised, "He's handsome and, above all, genuinely kind."
Regarding their 'second child plan,' Minah expressed her wish for a son, while On Joo-wan preferred a daughter, showcasing their differing opinions. Minah humorously added, "Make sure to feed my husband well. He eats a lot," highlighting their loving relationship.
