Woo Do-hwan Battles Muscle Pain While Filming 'Bloodhounds' Season 2
Actor Woo Do-hwan endured muscle pain while filming 'Bloodhounds' Season 2.

On the 9th, an interview was conducted with Woo Do-hwan, who plays Gun-woo, at a cafe located in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, for the Netflix series 'Bloodhounds' Season 2. The series follows Gun-woo and Woo-jin as they take on a global illegal boxing league dominated by money and violence, after having taken down a notorious illegal loan shark gang. Woo Do-hwan stars as Gun-woo, while Lee Sang-yi plays Woo-jin.

During the interview, Woo Do-hwan shared, "I lived with muscle pain while filming. I took muscle relaxants every day," adding, "There were many running scenes. In the first episode's ending, I ran barefoot, and in the third episode, I had to follow a parkour expert. My thigh muscles couldn't take it."

Despite the challenges, Woo Do-hwan expressed his love for action scenes, saying, "With action, you can tell if it turned out well or not just by watching the rough cut. It's precise, which I like." He continued, "Dopamine rushes through you. When an action one-take goes well, adrenaline kicks in. It makes you feel alive."

According to Netflix's official site Tudum on the 8th, 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 recorded 5 million views last week (calculated by dividing the viewing hours by the total runtime of the series), ranking second in the non-English show category.
