Woo Do-hwan Discusses Intense Preparation for 'Bloodhounds' Season 2
Actor Woo Do-hwan reveals he prepared more systematically for his character in 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 compared to Season 1.

On the 9th, an interview with Woo Do-hwan, who plays Gun-woo in Netflix's 'Bloodhounds' Season 2, was conducted at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 follows Gun-woo and Woo-jin as they take on a global illegal boxing league dominated by money and violence, after having taken down a notorious illegal loan shark gang. Woo Do-hwan stars as Gun-woo, while Lee Sang-yi plays Woo-jin.

During the interview, Woo Do-hwan shared, "In Season 1, I just had a boxer's physique. Towards the end of Season 1, I went to the countryside and didn't train much. I only had a month then, but for Season 2, I had about 3 to 4 months to prepare."

He continued, "I ate four meals a day. Eating until just before sleeping made my face a bit fuller. After workouts, I always ate chicken breast, and if I didn't feel like it, I ordered something like Jikoba with rice. I ate four bowls of rice a day."

He added, "From morning until I went to bed, I only worked out. I went to action school in the morning, hit the gym at noon, rested, and then ran at night. Without stamina, you get injured, so I focused on building my endurance."

According to Netflix's official site Tudum on the 8th, 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 recorded 5 million views (calculated by dividing viewing hours by the total runtime of the show) last week, ranking 2nd in the non-English show category.
