CORTIS, the popular music group, has released a set of concept photos that are drawing laughs with their quirky poses and expressions as they gear up for their comeback.
On April 8th at 9 PM, CORTIS members Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho shared the 'STUDIO' version of their mini-album 'GREENGREEN' photos through their official social media channels. Following the 'BRIDGE' and 'STREET' versions, which focused on everyday themes, this latest set was shot in the studio at HYBE's Yongsan headquarters.
The photos emphasize a natural atmosphere by reflecting the members' usual attire. Instead of elaborate staging, the images capture the playful and contemplative moments of youth. A white background highlights the individual characteristics of the five members in a straightforward manner.
The shoot focused on the subjects with lighting and used contrasts of light and shadow. An intentionally blurred focus technique was employed to enhance a rough texture. The members expressed their individuality with free poses and expressions, unconstrained by any set framework.
In a unique engagement with fans, CORTIS is leaving Google Map reviews in conjunction with the photo releases. Member Juhun shared an anecdote in the review section for the HYBE Yongsan building, stating, "The studio where we took the photos is a place we frequently use within the company. We also filmed our debut album choreography practice videos here."
CORTIS has been releasing album photos sequentially since April 6th and plans to continue unveiling new images until April 10th. Their mini-album 'GREENGREEN', in which all members participated in music, choreography, and video production, is set for official release on May 4th. Prior to this, the title track 'REDRED' and its music video will be released on April 20th, marking the start of their promotional activities.
