Recently, a video titled 'Dance of Death' was unveiled on Google Korea and the Dolphin Kidnapping channel. This project features Yuna Kim reinterpreting her short program through ballet, with ballerina Kang Sue-jin participating.
In the video, Yuna Kim takes the stage, performing ballet movements to the music. Despite being a different discipline from figure skating, her stable and flexible movements captivated viewers. Her toned muscles, visible through her costume, drew particular attention.
The audience also caught a glimpse of Kang Sue-jin watching Yuna Kim's performance, smiling, which left a lasting impression of their collaboration.
The video sparked various reactions online. Comments included, “Her body looks the same despite not working out,” “Ballet gives a different vibe,” and “Kang Sue-jin's appearance is impressive.”
Previously, Yuna Kim appeared on Yoo Jae-suk's YouTube channel 'Pinggye-go,' where she discussed why she doesn't exercise, revealing, "I have lingering pains from my athlete days, including my knees, hips, and feet."
Meanwhile, Yuna Kim retired after winning a silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. She married Forestella member Ko Woo-rim, who is five years younger, after three years of dating in 2022.
