Singer Hwasa expressed her gratitude towards her staff on the YouTube show 'Salon Drip' hosted by Jang Do-yeon.
On the episode released on the 7th, titled '[Hwasa's Life] ★Springtime Heel Care Secrets★', Hwasa discussed her hit song 'Good Goodbye'. She clarified, "It's not just about breaking up with a lover." She shared, "I played it for almost everyone I know, and the reactions were mixed. Some couldn't relate to the concept of a 'good goodbye', while others were so immersed they asked me to send them the song." She added, "It made me realize I need to convey my message clearly."
Hwasa also shared her thoughts on what constitutes a 'good goodbye'. She said, "I've had good goodbyes, am having them, and will continue to do so. The standard for a good goodbye is support. There might be resentment or longing, but it's about cheering them on."
She humorously added, "There were some pathetic goodbyes too, which made the good ones possible. I'm sure someone thought, 'This is my story,' and cried their eyes out."
Hwasa explained why she doesn't hold back in expressing herself to those around her. She mentioned actor Yoon Kyung-ho, who gave her a big reaction during her performance at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. "For a performer, getting a reaction is precious and appreciated. I was so moved by the video that I wanted to express my gratitude," she said.
Later, at the 'Pingkego' awards, Hwasa spontaneously gave Yoon Kyung-ho her shoes, saying, "He accepted them so well, it was the most exciting end to a workday since my debut. After filming, I wanted to give him something, so I even gifted him pine mushrooms."
Hwasa's acts of kindness continued. She gifted a car and a luxury bag to a staff member who has been with her for 10 years. "We've been together for a long time, and I've been successful. My team shares the same schedule and experiences, but I earn more. So, I don't mind giving more. It's never a waste," she expressed.
Meanwhile, Hwasa is set to release her new song 'So Cute' on the 9th.
