Comedian Shin Dong-yup humorously exposed a fellow comedian's extravagant request for champagne and caviar.
On October 6, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup' featured legendary KBS 22nd class comedians Heo Kyung-hwan, Park Sung-kwang, and Park Young-jin.
From the start, Park Sung-kwang became the unexpected target of a playful revelation. Shin Dong-yup shared, "When discussing the show with our production team, he asked for champagne." As Park Sung-kwang appeared flustered, Heo Kyung-hwan teased, "How arrogant," while Park Young-jin joked, "Does he even know how to spell champagne?"
The teasing didn't stop there. As snacks were served, Shin Dong-yup added, "Our Sung-kwang was very adamant about having champagne and caviar." Park Sung-kwang tried to recover by saying, "I just mentioned it when they asked for suggestions. I didn't think it would actually happen."
However, Heo Kyung-hwan criticized, "Is he crazy or what?" and Park Young-jin added, "Next, he'll be asking for a car," bringing laughter to the set.
Heo Kyung-hwan confessed, "During my rookie days, I had a 'Gangnam syndrome.'" Park Young-jin recalled, "We usually started from Singil-dong to head to Yeouido, but Heo Kyung-hwan chose to live in Sillim-dong, which was quite a distance."
Heo Kyung-hwan admitted to frequently visiting Gangnam with Park Sung-kwang on days off, saying, "I had a 'Gangnam syndrome.' A senior once told us, 'I keep hearing your names in Gangnam. Be careful.' Going to Gangnam meant having the means to visit places like Apgujeong and Cheongdam-dong."
Heo Kyung-hwan stubbornly thought, 'Why not just move to Gangnam?' and eventually relocated to Yeoksam-dong. He humorously added, "I wanted to say, 'I live in Gangnam.'"
Recalling past incidents with seniors, Heo Kyung-hwan shared, "I was once sitting with my legs crossed at a restaurant, and a senior told me to put my legs down. I thought it was a kind gesture, but it caused quite a stir. Not only I but everyone got scolded. From then on, it was always 'Heo Kyung-hwan, come here.'" Park Sung-kwang also got caught for similar behavior.
Heo Kyung-hwan continued, "A senior asked, 'Did you just cross your legs?' and Sung-kwang replied, 'I didn't cross them; I just rested them slightly.' From then on, we both became targets and were called out together."
Recently rising as a popular comedian, Heo Kyung-hwan shared, "Elementary school kids didn't know me at all before." He recounted, "Recently, in an elevator, a parent said, 'We really enjoy watching you, Heo Kyung-hwan,' and the child asked, 'Who is that?' But after looking at me for a while, the child recognized me as 'Heo Kyung-hwan.'" He added, "Kids know me from Reels, but they didn't realize I was that Heo Kyung-hwan. That was the best moment of the year for me."
