The marital relationship between Ha Jung-woo and Lim Soo-jung's characters faces turmoil with the return of Kim Joon-han's character.
In the upcoming episode 7 of tvN's weekend drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea,' airing on the 4th at 9:10 PM, the couple Ki Soo-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo) and Kim Sun (played by Lim Soo-jung) find their recently mended relationship strained once again due to the awakening of Min Hwal-seong (played by Kim Joon-han).
Previously, Ki Soo-jong and Kim Sun were on the brink of divorce but united over a common goal. Kim Sun covered up Ki Soo-jong's kidnapping incident for the sake of their daughter and family, while Ki Soo-jong, aware of Kim Sun's affair with his close friend Min Hwal-seong, chose to cooperate with her due to pressing matters. Their partnership, built on mutual secrets, created a tense atmosphere.
The plot takes a turn as Min Hwal-seong awakens from his coma. Immediately seeking out Ki Soo-jong, Min Hwal-seong challenges him for keeping the ransom money from the kidnapping, promising to shake up the dynamics.
In the released scenes from episode 7, a tense confrontation unfolds between Ki Soo-jong, Kim Sun, and Min Hwal-seong. The couple attends a redevelopment project dinner party, where Min Hwal-seong also appears, creating a chaotic love triangle.
Particularly, Min Hwal-seong approaches Kim Sun for a secretive conversation while Ki Soo-jong is away. Ki Soo-jong observes them with a stern expression. Min Hwal-seong whispers something to Kim Sun, who appears deep in thought, sparking curiosity about their exchange. The impact of Min Hwal-seong's return on Ki Soo-jong and Kim Sun's relationship remains to be seen.
