Sook Family Completes Challenging 'Eeyoung Work' on 'Unpredictable Family'

The Sook Family successfully completed the challenging yet entertaining 'Eeyoung Work'.

In the fourth episode of tvN's variety show 'Unpredictable Family' aired on the 3rd, the cast was seen working with local elders on house rope placement following their previous woodworking tasks.

On the second day of construction at the 220-pyeong Jeju villa, Kim Sook, Lee Chun-hee, Baek Ga, and Jang Woo-young resumed the woodworking tasks they couldn't finish the previous day due to straw transportation. As soon as they arrived, they moved a total of 1260kg of materials, including beams and rafters, and immediately started refining the rafters, working tirelessly.

Meanwhile, Lee Chun-hee and Jang Woo-young, who were criticized by Kim Sook and Baek Ga the day before, took the opportunity to tease them when they struggled with the woodworking tasks. Kim Sook and Baek Ga realized the difficulty of the work firsthand but couldn't help but bicker with Lee Chun-hee and Jang Woo-young, causing laughter all around.

After the eventful woodworking tasks, Kim Sook, Lee Chun-hee, and Jang Woo-young returned to Jeju to start the next phase of construction. They joined the elders of Seongeup Village in the 'Eeyoung Work'. Impressed by the elders' skillful hands, they donned their work clothes and got to work.

Lee Chun-hee, trying to follow the elders' instructions, ended up confused, providing comic relief. Jang Woo-young entertained everyone with an impromptu performance when the elders requested a work song.

As the work continued, the members grew tired, but a timely snack break allowed them to rest. They enjoyed warm red bean porridge and kimchi prepared by the elders and listened to their nostalgic first love stories, which captivated the Sook Family.

After the brief but sweet break, they returned to work, dancing and keeping the energy high. Kim Sook, with her deft hands, impressed the elders, who jokingly offered her a scouting opportunity, showcasing her chemistry with the local elders.

The members completed the work together and were surprised by Song Eun-yi's arrival with dinner. They enjoyed a meal of shrimp, monkfish stew, and bread from a famous bakery, ending their tiring day on a warm note.

Producer Kim Kwan-tae expressed, "I was worried about how the construction process would be perceived by viewers, but I'm grateful for the members' sincerity and interest in the cultural heritage site. In the fifth episode, viewers can look forward to the workers finding their aptitudes, Kim Sook's mid-project resignation, and unpredictable encounters. Please look forward to it."
