Choi Gyu-ri Signs Exclusive Contract with Daraum Entertainment, Joins Park Min-young and Seo Beom-jun

Choi Gyu-ri has signed an exclusive contract with Daraum Entertainment, the agency representing Park Min-young and Seo Beom-jun.

On the 3rd, Daraum Entertainment stated, "Actress Choi Gyu-ri is known for her unique and vibrant character, rich expressiveness, positive mindset, and limitless abilities. We are thrilled to work with Choi Gyu-ri, an actress with endless charm and potential who approaches every project with dedication. We will provide full support for her growth." Previously, Choi Gyu-ri ended her exclusive contract with Chorokbaem Entertainment in March.

Choi Gyu-ri is currently making her presence felt in the KBS 2TV mini-series 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri,' which premiered on the 26th of last month. She plays the role of Im Bo-mi, the only daughter of village chief couple Im Joo-hyung (played by Lee Seo-hwan) and Nam Hye-sun (played by Nam Kwon-ah).

In the series, Im Bo-mi is portrayed as a spirited character who has cared for her village since childhood but is a novice in romance. Her story unfolds with a youthful and exciting narrative as she encounters Seong Ji-cheon (played by Lee Jin-woo), the son of a rival family, leading to a Romeo and Juliet-like romance.

In the first two episodes, Choi Gyu-ri made a strong impression as Im Bo-mi, who warns Seong Ji-cheon, "No phones while walking! You'll get into an accident," while riding a scooter along a country road. Later, she captures Seong Ji-cheon's heart with her adept farming skills in the village's cucumber greenhouse and charms the children in the school cafeteria with her magnetic personality. Her positive energy shines through as she diligently completes her tasks in the cafeteria. As spring arrives, Choi Gyu-ri is expected to spread her 'heart-fluttering romance virus' and vibrant energy across Korea.

Choi Gyu-ri made her debut in 2021 with 'Uncle' and has since appeared in 'Surviving as a Celebrity Manager,' 'Marry My Husband,' and the film 'Confession History,' leaving a strong impression. In 'Marry My Husband,' she gained attention for her bold proposal to Lee Gi-kwang, earning the nickname 'Lovely Strong Woman' for her portrayal of a 'no-holds-barred MZ generation go-getter.' She previously worked alongside Park Min-young in this project.
