From March 23 to 29, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to take a night walk with in the warm spring?'
Kim Eui-young claimed the top spot. She debuted as a trot singer after finishing in the top 5 on TV Chosun's 2020 show 'Miss Trot 2.' In May last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1,' produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim Eui-young's refreshing charm.
In second place was Kim Yeon-ji, formerly of the group SeeYa. Recently, SeeYa announced their full reunion after 15 years. A representative from SeeYa stated, "On the 20th anniversary, the members were moved to tears in front of an ad gifted by fans," adding, "Having confirmed the sincerity of fans who waited 15 years, we will repay them with high-quality music that embodies SeeYa's authenticity."
Kim Da-hyun secured third place. On March 14, she successfully held her first solo concert at KBS Hall in Namcheon-dong, Busan. Kim Da-hyun captivated the Busan audience with her powerful vocals, honed through traditional Korean music, and her modern trot sensibility, delivering both poignant and exhilarating performances.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted with themes such as 'Which female singer would you like to enjoy a performance with in Daehak-ro on a warm spring day?' and 'Which male trot singer would you like to enjoy a performance with in Daehak-ro on a warm spring day?'
