T.O.P, the renowned singer, is making a spectacular comeback with his first solo full-length album.
Today, at 6 PM, T.O.P will release his album 'Another Dimension' on various online music platforms. Alongside the album release, he will unveil the music video for one of the double title tracks, 'DESPERADO', marking the start of his active promotions.
'DESPERADO', the first track to be revealed, candidly and directly expresses moments of love. The music video is crafted with a minimalist approach, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in the song's intense atmosphere and T.O.P's delicate emotional expression.
The album 'Another Dimension' features a total of eleven tracks, including the pre-released 'DESPERADO' and another title track 'Completely Crazy! (Studio54)'. 'Completely Crazy! (Studio54)' is a new style track based on house music blended with 80s hip-hop vibes, featuring innovative sound structures and a powerful beat.
The album also includes a diverse range of tracks such as the opening track 'SELF CRUCIFIXION', 'THE GIANT', 'OVAYA (A SMALL, FILTHY SHOW WINDOW)', 'ZERO-COKE', 'Another Dimension Holy Dude !!!!!!!!!!', 'SEOUL CHAOS', 'FOR FANS', 'After the Play', and the closing track 'BE SOLID'. These tracks showcase T.O.P's unique worldview with an organic composition.
T.O.P actively participated in the overall production of the album, enhancing its quality. Renowned Grammy-winning engineer IRKO handled the sound design and mixing for all tracks, resulting in high-quality sound. The entire album is mixed in 'Dolby Atmos'.
The album's design and music video art direction were overseen by Ed Ruscha, a living legend in American painting, and Chae Kyung-sun, the art director of the Netflix series 'Squid Game'. Cinematographer Kim Ji-yong, known for his work on 'Squid Game 2', 'Decision to Leave', and 'The Fortress', directed the music videos for the title tracks.
T.O.P's first full-length album 'Another Dimension' is available on various online music platforms starting today at 6 PM. The music video for 'Completely Crazy! (Studio54)' will be released later.
Meanwhile, T.O.P debuted with Big Bang in 2006 and has pursued both singing and acting careers. In October 2016, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a 2-year probation for smoking marijuana at his home. He announced his retirement from the entertainment industry but reversed his decision by appearing in the Netflix series 'Squid Game 2' in December 2024.
