Recently, an interview with Jung Ga-ram was conducted at a café in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, regarding the movie 'The Ultimate Investigation.' Jung Ga-ram appeared in a casual outfit, wearing a hoodie and jeans.
'The Ultimate Investigation' is a crime investigation drama where Detective Jae-hyuk (played by Bae Sung-woo), who has been demoted to a rural area, heads to Seoul with rookie detective Joong-ho (played by Jung Ga-ram) to catch the real culprit of a murder case involving two suspects. Although filming was completed in 2019, the release was delayed due to Bae Sung-woo's DUI controversy the following year, and it is finally being released after about seven years.
Reflecting on his appearance from seven years ago on screen, Jung Ga-ram said, "I filmed it in my mid-20s. My weight is similar, but I've lost some baby fat. I used to be told I looked older in my early 20s, but now people say I look younger." He added humorously, "I don't get ID checked anymore. It would be nice if they did. I'm always ready with my wallet."
He continued, "Other senior actors look the same. They haven't aged, but Yoon Kyung-ho has gotten bigger. He's gained a lot of weight," and added, "After the project, Yoon Kyung-ho treated me to hongeo (fermented skate) and makgeolli (Korean rice wine). I was grateful, and he's a cool person."
