Mnet's M Countdown is set to kick off April with a bang, introducing a new lineup of MCs and the return of top-tier artists. Previously, Sung Han-bin of ZEROBASEONE and Myung Jae-hyun of BOYNEXTDOOR served as MCs until their departure last September. After a period of special guest MCs, the show has finally appointed official MCs after half a year.

On the April 2nd broadcast, the newly appointed MCs So Jung-hwan, Park Gun-wook, and Gye Hoon will make their debut with a special stage. The episode will also feature the first-ever performance of Kep1er's new song, as well as comeback stages from solo artists Irene and Kino. Park Gun-wook, a member of ZEROBASEONE who debuted in 2023, takes over the role from former leader Sung Han-bin, drawing attention. ZEROBASEONE recently concluded their activities as a nine-member group and restructured into a five-member lineup after a member from YH Entertainment (formerly Yuehua) left the team.

During the broadcast, the official 'MC group name' for the trio will also be revealed for the first time. This name was chosen by the MCs from various ideas proposed by global fans, adding significance as they become the new faces of 'M Countdown' in collaboration with fans.

Kep1er, who enjoys immense love from their global fandom, will unveil their new song 'KILLA' on 'M Countdown' for the first time. Known for showcasing unique concepts with each album, Kep1er is expected to dominate the stage with enhanced charisma and powerful performances.

The comeback lineup of solo artists with impressive skills is also highly anticipated. Following her, 'All-rounder Artist' Kino will heat up the studio with a trendy and stylish performance of his new song 'TAXI.'
