Chef Lim Sung-geun, who had previously announced a hiatus from broadcasting due to past DUI and assault charges, has shared recent photos with his granddaughter.

On the 31st, Lim posted on his social media, "It's already the last day of the first quarter. The restaurant is being prepared diligently," along with several photos. In the photos, Lim is seen smiling brightly while holding his granddaughter.

He expressed his affection for his granddaughter, saying, "These days, I live for the joy of seeing my granddaughter. She's now 4 years old." He added, "Seeing her already trying to cook, she seems to take after me. I hope she grows up healthy, no matter what she becomes."

Previously, Lim gained attention for his appearance on Netflix's variety show 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War Season 2.' However, it was later revealed that he had been penalized six times for offenses including four DUIs, one instance of driving a motorcycle without a license, and one case related to assault and injury. As the controversy grew, Lim issued an apology and announced a complete halt to his broadcasting activities, but he resumed his YouTube channel just a month later.

Meanwhile, Lim continues to engage with his audience through his YouTube channel. He is reportedly preparing to open a new restaurant in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
