Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube are set to revisit Cheongju, the city that once turned them down, for an unapologetic food trip.
Airing on April 3 at 9:10 PM, the 25th episode of the real street food documentary 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3' (co-produced by MBN, Channel S, and SK Broadband) will feature Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) as they return to Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, aiming for a '100% booking' miracle.
On a rainy day in Cheongju, Jeon Hyun-moo declares, "We're back. The place where we faced the most rejections in 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan' history!" thus kicking off the 'Again Cheongju' special. He adds, "Revenge is best served on a rainy day!" setting a determined tone, while Kwak Tube raises the energy by comparing the atmosphere to the movie 'Nowhere to Hide.'
The duo chooses the mysterious local dish 'Saebae-ngi Jjigae' as their first menu item and enters the restaurant with anticipation. Kwak Tube steps up, bypassing Jeon Hyun-moo's usual lead, and humorously requests, "We humbly ask! Please, Saebae-ngi Jjigae!" with a witty two-line poem. The owner's laughter grants them the booking.
As they celebrate and take their seats, the owner compliments Jeon Hyun-moo, saying, "You look slimmer in person." The owner explains that 'Saebae-ngi Jjigae' is a freshwater shrimp stew, heightening their expectations. Once the owner steps away, Kwak Tube jokingly complains, "Everyone says Hyun-moo looks slimmer in person, but they say I look chubbier," to which Jeon Hyun-moo candidly responds, "You look thinner on TV. I'm always surprised." When the 'Saebae-ngi Jjigae' arrives, they are impressed by its spicy broth. Adding ramen noodles, Jeon Hyun-moo expresses his delight, saying, "It's so good, I feel sorry for the guests coming after us."
