In the 23rd episode, aired on the evening of the 30th, Kim Dan-hee discovers that the hoodie worn by the thief in the CCTV footage matches one owned by Choi Yoo-na. Despite the evidence, Choi Yoo-na brazenly counters by pointing to a public confession video posted by 'Gobalnam', further inciting viewers' anger.

However, Kim Dan-hee and Chloe (Nam Sang-ji) quickly deduce that the video is fake. It is revealed that 'Gobalnam' was coerced into making the false broadcast by Oh Jung-ran, heightening the tension. Kim Dan-hee, Chloe, and Park Min-jun (Kim Kyung-bo) conclude that securing 'Gobalnam's safety is crucial to uncovering the truth, setting the stage for a battle of revelations.

With evidence desperately needed, Chloe suggests a trap might yield decisive proof. Kim Dan-hee immediately recalls Choi Yoo-na's hoodie. Their seamless teamwork shines as Choi Yoo-na, in an attempt to erase evidence, discards the hoodie in a clothing bin. Jung Yoon-jung (Ha Jae-sook), lying in wait, retrieves it, turning the tide of the investigation.
