Actress Hwang Bo-ra humorously declared her son Woo-in on the 'blacklist' after his first cultural center experience.
On the 31st, the YouTube channel 'Hwang Bo-ra Variety' released a video titled '21-Month-Old Son Becomes Blacklisted After First Cultural Center Attempt'.
In the video, Hwang Bo-ra and her son Woo-in attended their first cultural center class. Hwang Bo-ra had previously expressed frustration over failing to secure a spot at the apartment community center's cultural classes, stating, "They take reservations every three months, and it's impossible to get a spot even if you click rapidly at 6 AM. So, we came to a different place."
Although they frequently visited kids' cafes, this was their first cultural center class. Hwang Bo-ra hoped her son would adapt well, but the class proved challenging from the start.
Woo-in struggled to focus despite the teacher's efforts with songs and movements. Throughout the class, he wandered around or got distracted. During the art activity, he even spilled paint unexpectedly.
Hwang Bo-ra couldn't hide her surprise. She quickly intervened, saying, "Stop studying art," and temporarily left the class to wash his hands. The contrast with his focused peer, Ji-woo, added to her embarrassment.
The class naturally shifted to physical play, but the situation didn't improve. Woo-in continued to play alone. Hwang Bo-ra, visibly exhausted, jokingly said, "You're on the blacklist, the TnT blacklist," but her fatigue was evident. She added, "This might be the first and last time," revealing the realistic challenges of parenting.
The class continued, with the teacher persistently trying to engage Woo-in. Hwang Bo-ra repeatedly apologized and candidly shared, "I'm very disappointed. I thought he would follow along well."
Meanwhile, Hwang Bo-ra married Kim Young-hoon, the son of actor Kim Yong-gun and brother of Ha Jung-woo, in 2022, and they welcomed their son Woo-in in 2024.
