On the 31st, tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' made the YouTube clips and VOD replays of episodes featuring Hwang Seok-hee private. The show's representatives told TenAsia, "The VOD will be edited, and the YouTube clips are being made private sequentially." Currently, episode 143 of 'You Quiz on the Block,' which featured Hwang, is no longer available for replay.
On the same day, MBC's variety show 'The Manager' also made videos related to Hwang private. Regarding this, 'The Manager' representatives informed TenAsia, "We have decided to make all related VOD and YouTube clips private."
Meanwhile, on the 30th, a media outlet reported that Hwang Seok-hee had committed sexual crimes three times. According to the report, he was charged twice: once in 2005 for molesting and assaulting women on the street, and again in 2014 for sexual violence against a student. He was reportedly given suspended sentences for charges including indecent assault causing injury and quasi-rape.
In response, Hwang Seok-hee stated on his social media the same day, "I am currently reviewing the related matters with my lawyer. If there are inaccuracies, unverified content, or expressions beyond legal judgment in the report, I will consider corrections and responses."
