Rain Shares Insight on His Villainous Role in Netflix's 'Bloodhounds' Season 2

On the 31st, a press conference for Netflix's series 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Jung Ji-hoon, and director Kim Joo-hwan.

Jung Ji-hoon explained, "The director had many requests. I had to smile but still appear frightening, and even when smiling, my eyes shouldn't smile. I needed to be extremely evil and able to make my opponent feel miserable with any action." He added, "The director also said my physique shouldn't look overly good. I needed to be bulked up but still capable of boxing. Despite the many demands, I enjoyed the challenge of being directed after a long time. I decided to follow the director's lead."

Regarding his character, Jung Ji-hoon stated, "I moved as if always holding a blade. Within the organization, I had no allies, and everyone was an enemy. Although the character is ruthless, expressing it wasn't particularly difficult."

He further shared, "As I discussed with the director, I felt myself gradually immersing into the character. My gaze and gestures needed to be intimidating and sharp, but not artificial. To appear as someone who lived that way all their life, I maintained that state even at home, which sometimes got me in trouble. I lived as Baek Jeong for about a year."

Netflix's 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 will be released on April 3rd.
