On October 30, Kim Seon-ho shared a brief message, "Wow," along with a photo on his Instagram story.

The photo revealed a screenshot of Netflix rankings, showing Kim Seon-ho's film 'The Childe' securing the third spot in 'Today's Top 10 Movies in South Korea,' drawing significant attention.

'The Childe,' released in June 2023, follows the story of Marco, a boxer navigating illegal arenas in the Philippines. He encounters mysterious figures, including the enigmatic Childe played by Kim Seon-ho, each with their own motives, leading to a thrilling chase. Kim Seon-ho's character disrupts Marco's life as he struggles to make money.

Earlier in February, Kim Seon-ho faced allegations of tax evasion through a family-owned corporation. His agency, Fantagio, clarified that "Kim Seon-ho established the corporation for acting and theater production activities in January 2024" and stated that "the process of closing the corporation is currently underway."

Following the controversy, Kim Seon-ho resumed his social media presence by uploading photoshoots and engaged with audiences through the play 'Secret Passage.'
