On the 30th, V shared on his Instagram story, "I'm locking in for real this time no excuses," along with a photo and several updates.
The posts revealed V watching English conversation lessons on YouTube, practicing native pronunciation and everyday phrases. BTS leader RM praised V's efforts by re-sharing the video and commenting, "Well done."
Recently, BTS's English skills have been a hot topic. Designer Lee Jung-woo, actress Jun Ji-hyun's mother-in-law, sparked controversy by posting on her social media, "The leader speaks English, but the others still can't after 10 years."
Following the backlash, Lee clarified, "It was a light-hearted story shared during a Weverse live by the members, and I found it amusing, so I posted it." She also revealed she has been an 'ARMY' (BTS fandom name) for 10 years.
Meanwhile, BTS released their fifth studio album 'Arirang' on the 20th. The album broke records with over 4,169,464 copies sold in its first week, setting a new high for BTS. It also topped the US Billboard 200 chart for the week of April 4th.
