During the 23rd episode, Kim Dan-hee discovered that the hoodie worn by the thief in the CCTV footage matched Choi Yuna's. Despite this evidence, Choi Yuna brazenly countered by claiming that a whistleblower had publicly confessed in a video, provoking viewers' anger.
In a desperate bid for evidence, Chloe suggested setting a trap, prompting Kim Dan-hee to recall Choi Yuna's hoodie. Their seamless teamwork shone through as Choi Yuna attempted to dispose of the incriminating hoodie in a clothing collection bin, only for Jung Yoon-jung (played by Ha Jae-sook) to retrieve it, turning the tide of the investigation.
Choi Yuna later confronted Chloe, demanding an apology with audacity. Unfazed, Chloe retorted, "There might be more truths to uncover," engaging in a tense standoff. The situation shifted with Oh Jung-ran's arrival, as Chloe watched the two leave with suspicion, adding intrigue to the unfolding drama.
The plot thickened as Oh Jung-ran pressured Choi Yuna to transfer stocks, leading to a misunderstanding by Hong Young-sil (played by Kyung-sook), who stormed into the office, escalating the tension. Kim Dan-hee's realization of the situation further intensified the drama.
In the climax, just as Choi Yuna was about to seal the stock deal with her seal, Kim Dan-hee intervened, tearing up the delegation form and halting the transaction. This decisive 'satisfying ending' left viewers captivated.
'Red Pearl' has shifted its schedule to air from Monday to Thursday each week. Episode 24 will be broadcast tonight (31st) at 7:50 PM.
