Pacific Music Group (PMG) has announced an official partnership with Stage Zero, taking on the exclusive management of artist TaTa Taktumi (TaTa) in the Asian region.
On the 30th, PMG revealed that it will manage TaTa, the first artist from Stage Zero, founded by multi-Grammy-winning producer Timbaland, exclusively in Asia. Additionally, PMG will serve as a global label for all music releases worldwide.
PMG plans to oversee strategic positioning, release campaigns, partnerships, media operations, and long-term brand development, focusing on major Asian markets.
TaTa is a hybrid artist combining advanced technology and human creativity, based on collaboration between real artists and digital personas. PMG officially recognized TaTa's real artist as being of Filipino descent, adding cultural identity and global expansion significance to the project.
PMG's CEO stated, "TaTa is a project where culture, technology, and identity converge," and emphasized that this partnership will strengthen connections with Asia. Timbaland added, "TaTa symbolizes the era of 'hyper creativity' and opens possibilities for a new generation of artists and a new era of entertainment."
TaTa's joining PMG stems from a personal journey to reconnect with her Asian roots and embrace her Filipino heritage. As she expands her activities across digital and real realms, Asia is becoming more than just a market—it's becoming 'home.'
PMG plans to sequentially roll out various promotional activities and strategic collaborations across Asia, including the release of TaTa's new music. TaTa is currently expanding into performance through collaboration with the Las Vegas-based dance crew Jabbawockeez, broadening her presence in the global market with activities that transcend digital and reality.
PMG was founded by Grammy Award-winning artist, songwriter, and producer Ne-Yo, India's leading vocalist Sonu Nigam, Asian-American hip-hop artist MC Jin, and former Warner Music Group Asia co-president Jonathan Serbin. Recently, PMG established a Korean branch to actively support the discovery of domestic artists and their entry into the global market.
