Actor Yoon Seo-hyun Shares Heartfelt Story of Receiving Allowance from 91-Year-Old Father

Actor Yoon Seo-hyun recently revealed on MBN's 'Dongchimi' that he still receives an allowance from his 91-year-old father. He shared, "I am still a son who receives pocket money from my father," and expressed his admiration for his father's life journey.

Yoon recalled his father's frugal habits, saying, "He would save even a single sheet of toilet paper and never wasted anything, even cutting toothpicks in half to use them."

He continued, "My father saved even a small amount of money every day, and that money eventually came back to us, his children. It's not about the amount, but the process that is truly remarkable."

Despite his father's current mobility issues, Yoon shared that his father still gives him an allowance, stating, "This money is different from the money in my pocket. I can't spend it. I keep it separate so it doesn't mix with other money." He added, "This money is priceless," with tears in his eyes.

Yoon Seo-hyun expressed, "Only now, at this age, do I understand my father. Even though he is bedridden, I am grateful for his presence. He is the person I respect the most." When asked by Lee Yong-sik if he gives his father an allowance, Yoon candidly replied, "I don't," explaining that his father refuses to accept it, showing his father's selfless love for his children.

Yoon Seo-hyun is known for his unique performances in various works such as 'Soonpoong Clinic,' 'All In,' 'High Kick!', and 'Rude Miss Young-ae.'
